Some engagement sessions just feel easy in the best possible way and this was definitely one of them. In the Santuário da Peninha, Iara and Luís were completely themselves together and this session ended up feeling more like an afternoon spent with friends than an actual photoshoot. It was April 1st, a day notorious for its pranks. Little did I know, this particular April Fools' Day would take me by surprise in the most beautiful way.

The morning started with that annoying “is it going to rain or not?” drizzle situation, but somehow the weather held long enough for Luís to pull off the sweetest surprise proposal for Andreia at Quinta de Santana.
