Monserrate Elopement + Golden Hour at Ursa Beach Viewpoint
Victoria and Sam are a modern couple. A little shy, a little reserved, but full of quiet strength and connection. They didn’t want a big wedding. They didn’t want to perform. They just wanted to be together, in a beautiful place and make it theirs. So they chose my beautiful Sintra.
The day started slowly, just the way I love it. No rush. No timeline panic because it was just the two of them.
They wanted Palácio de Monserrate, one of the most underrated and magical places in Sintra to be the backdrop of their elopement. We wandered around the gardens before and after their ceremony, letting them soak in the moment without pressure. They held hands, laughed and explored together like they had the whole world to themselves.
As golden hour approached, we drove to the Miradouro da Praia da Ursa, one of my favorite spots along the Sintra coast but not without making a small detour to check our beautiful town of Azenhas do Mar, our portuguese Santorini.
They danced a little, kissed under the wind and just let the sea be their soundtrack. It was cinematic without trying to be. A little Jane Austen style.
